L. Life's no storybook..

I wish I was smart,
but I shouldn't let school, or should I say Anatomy get to me.

At least I have them, you know who you are.
You all keep me sane and make me not take life too seriously.
And Jack's on Saturday.
Can't wait to see them, or more importantly the lovely Andrew upclose and personal.
Woop for early admission. =)

So I guess a day like today is a perfect day to write.
For those of you who haven't heard, I've been really sick for the past 2 weeks.
Dealing w/ mono and recently recovering from tonsillitis.
Let me tell you, not fun whatsoever.
And not how I imagined spending my Christmas break.

It kind of sucks really, I was so looking forward to Christmas this year and this break.
To have fun, hang out, and do whatever.
So far all I've done is lie around my house and regain my voice.
This is the first time I've been on the computer in about 2 weeks.

I have been depressed about my whole situation I'll be honest.
But I guess there is really nothing I can do about it now.
It's life, and life is just not fair sometimes.
So I am doing the best that I can, it's all I can do.
The good news is I am feeling the best I have since like the 15 or 16 of December.

I really just miss everyone.
I received a card and get well gift yesterday from Al and just started crying.
It's lame I know, but she's my family.
All of my girls are.
And this just hasn't been the same without any of them.

So here's to 2007, hoping I am well throughout most of it.
And hoping it is filled with many memories.

So this is the new year
And I don't feel any different

It figures this had to happen.
I was so happy the past two days, cause I thought I did amazingly well.
But I really think I'm not supposed to be happy, it's just a lie that I tell myself.
I'm sick of trying so freakin' hard and just failing, it's exhausting.
And quite frankly it makes me feel so useless and like a failure really.
I feel like I'm not good at anything and no matter what I do it still won't be good enough.
And I'm really honestly saying this because it's how I feel, not because I want sympathy.
I just want to quit.
I hate this and I hate feeling this way.
I give up, there's no way I'll make it through passing.

I got an A on my first Developmental Psych Exam! Woooop =)
Man I'm soo excited, my first A of the year so far.
I feel like I'm actually good at Psychology and it doesn't make me feel stupid like Microbio does.
Yeah I'm a dork and it makes me happy, so what.

Can't wait to be back in action tomorrow with my three best friends, you betches me a lot to me !!
And Saturday we be going to the Apple Cider as AJ calls it and somehow has gotten me and K to call it that as well haha.

Saturday is also 5 months w/ the boy Kenny =)
It kinda sucks that I won't be able to see him at all since he's working all day and babysitting his litte brother at night, but I'm happy this is my first real relationship and things couldn't be going better as of right now.

Ohh and I must say,
The Killers new cd is amazinggg.
Probably the BEST cd of the year.
Can't stop listening to it.
They sound different, but in a good way.

PS - 14 Days 'til the Fray & 25 'til my birfday =))!!

I really should be sleeping right now, since I have to get up at like 5:30 and head to the airport.
Instead I'm sitting here on the computer and listening to iTunes.

He's selfish, but it's cute that he wants me to stay.

Ugh, I don't get to see one of my best friends, Alison, 'til July 16th, how sucky.
Yeah, we're pretty much inseparable most of the time.

Well I'll miss you, and you all know who you are =]
